It's a purrfect week says my human friend. Because on Friday she is off work. But it's just because they have a firm Ski day. She does not ski and so she can relax all day long in the sun up in the mountains. I will relax on the couch, that's closer to my food dish...

Hi, I am Wendy Burns and I live in Nottingham (UK) with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters, in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends. I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors.

I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn/sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.

Digital stamps is a new challenge for me and the opportunity to work with the All Dressed Up Team has been very exciting, in particular the creative way my characters have been given individual personalities by the designers.

Christmas is not over yet ;)

Since my human friend has gone back to work it's quiet here in the house. So glad 'coz now I can enjoy my naps without getting attacked with cuddles every five mins. She is busy now. Her new boss is very nice she says but really demanding. She is the holiday replacement for the accountant and she says she has no clue about numbers and stuff like that.
Well, she said yes in a mental derangement to do this for six weeks before she starts her actual job as legal assistant, so I don't wanna hear any complaints. But she would never have agreed if they had told her that she has to take over both jobs at the same time, not as promised first the holiday replacement and then the actual job. But never mind, even if it's really though and much now she loves her new job and boss!

Welcome 2014!

I have survived New Years Eve... hid under the bed this night, I was so scared! How can humans like that noise and the pollution to Mother Nature? I will never understand (and neither will my human friend).

 

Anyway, at Sketch N Stash she made a new card for the first challenge. And sorry to say it's a Christmas card, tee hee... you will see some more the next coupla weeks because she made some of the cards with the new sketches for the next challenges. But it's okay she says, because luckily tomorrow she can show you another card which is not christmassy at all.

I'm a lovely Kitty too. Everytime I pass a mirror I have to look at myself and tell that I'm so pretty and cute. Such a lovely girl I am!!! My human friend says I am too skinny. But then, when I can't stop stuffing myself with food she says I shall stop. Well, she just can't make up her mind...

 

There is a new challenge starting at Sketch n Stash, it's the last one for this year and it also will be the last post for this year. You know what my human friend said?? When I am in cat heaven (and she swears this will be soon), she will close the blog and only do Facebook!!!!!! Isn't that aweful!!!!! As if there was no 'puter up in cat heaven...

My human friend is still stuffed from the feast she had yesterday. She says she is glad when Christmas is over and New Year too because she hates eating so much but she is so uncontrolled, she always eats and cannot stop! And then she wonders whom I have it from...

It's so nice to have my human friend at home. She pays me so much attention. But in a week from now she starts her new job. They have asked her to start in December and she said yes. It's only for a week though and then they have the offices closed over Christmas and New Year. So then she has another two weeks vacation.

I got pawesome mail, meow!

Guess what?! My human friend is still in her PJ's! She soooo enjoys not getting up at 5am to get ready for work! I had to wake her to feed me!

She had a wonderful goodbye in the office, they were all so nice to her (she says probably because they were glad she left). But I think they will really miss her. Because she told me what some partners in this law firm told her when she said goodbye. One said that there are really not many who are going to be missed but she certainly was one of them who left a gap. I think this is soooo sweet.

Okay, I will help her clean the flat now so that we can enjoy the week in a clean surrounding! I'm such a good kitty!! Oh and guess another thing!! I have received a wonderful card from Viv! Because the one I received two years ago is all dirty and my human friend wanted to throw it away (she stuck it to the wall where my food dish is and sometimes I don't always eat ladylike and now it's all filthy and full of food). So I wrote Viv a despereate comment in Facebook and look now what I got!!! A new card! I looove it. My human will stick it to the wall again so that I can see it daily when I eat. I promise not to be a piglet anymore!

you have no idea how happy my human friend is... only three more days to go. It's her last day on Friday and she is so happy! Although she will miss her boss and her apprentice.

 

Now she is home and cross with me because I forgot to schedule this post and now she is fuming... well it's because a lovely lady from the UK sent me a wonderful card and I have been drooling over it all day long and forgot to make this post!

Fairytale at Sketch N Stash

Guess what?! My human friend is scared that I can die any day!!! She says I'm way too skinny, she says she can count all my ribs and other bones. Helloooooo?! I'm skinny because I'm looking after myself, keeping my gorgeous body in shape, not like my human friend who eats anything she sees!

Back amongst the living!!

My human friend is back amongst the living! She has been terribly sick and the docs did not know what exactly was the problem, they said it was a virus. So she had to stay in bed and could not move, she has been so ill that she could not get up and feed me!!!!! Her hubby has brought her twice to hospital and now she is feeling much better and is back to work after three weeks.
