Hi out there

Heute bin zur Abwechslung mal ich dran mit schreiben. Erstens liegt Bailey grad im Solarium (auf dem Küchentisch unter der Lampe) und zweitens kann sie ja gar nicht wissen, wie es in Irland war, denn sie war ja daheim, mein süsses Baby!

Today it's my turn to write a post. Bailey lies under her private solarium (on the kitchen table under the lamp) and besides that, she has no idea how it was in Ireland, 'cause my cute little baby stayed at home!

Da ich grad keine Karte zu zeigen habe (das sind alles noch Geheimprojekte, psssst...), zeige ich euch halt ein paar Bilder von meinen Ferien in Irland. Hach, das war so schön, es war wie heimkommen nach 14 Jahren und kaum hatte ich einen Fuss auf die Insel gesetzt, da war alles wieder da, es war, als wäre ich nie weg gewesen!

I have no card to show you at the moment (those that I have are secret projects, shush!) and that's why I show you some pics from my hols in Ireland. It was so nice, so beautyful, so magnificent. It was like coming home after 14 years and it felt to me like no time has passed since left. It was like I've never been away!

Bilder können kaum zeigen, wie es auf dieser Insel ist. Wer schon mal da war, der kennt das vielleicht. Man kann die Stimmung und die Farben einfach nicht einfangen mir der Kamera.

Pictures can hardly show you the sheer beauty of this island. Those who have been there may know that. You cannot capture the atmosphere and the colours with your cam.

Auf dieser Insel kann man die Magie spüren, man spürt die Zeit und die Geschichte dieses Landes, die Menschen sind stolz auf ihre Insel und sie verbinden keltische Bräuche mit der modernen Zeit, als wäre es das normalste auf der Welt.

One can feel the magic and the history of this land, the people are so proud to be Irish, they love their past and history and they are darn proud of their Island. They unit celtic customs with modern times as if it was the most normal thing on earth.

Und natürlich sind meine Ferien durch die Bemerkung eines Iren gerettet: "Bist du oft gereist?"-"Nein"-"Frage nur, weil du einen irischen Akzent hast"

Juhuuuuuu, nach all den Jahren hört man es immer noch, das ist einfach unglaublich! Irland, ich liebe dich!

And my hols were safed 'cause of the remark of an Irishman. He asked me if I'd travelled a lot and I answered no. He then said that he asked because of my Irish accent, which he can hear. After all these years I still have an Irish accent, wowzie, this is sooooo totally unbelievable! Ireland, I love you!

 das war auf dem Navi wirklich eine Hauptstrasse und darf mit 80 befahren werden!!

Pimp it!

"Pimp it"

heisst das neue Thema diese Woche bei den Night Shift Stampers und dafür hat meine Menschin eine Kleenexbox aufgemotzt. Erst fand sie die Idee mit den Tim Holtz Blumen klasse, aber dann, als sie schon drauf geleimt waren, da fand sie die auf einmal doof, aber es war halt schon zu spät.

"Pimp it" 

is the new theme over at Night Shift Stamping challenge blog. And my human friend pimped this Kleenex box. She first liked the thought of glueing the two Tim Holtz flowers on top but once they were there she suddenly disliked it. Too late!

Letzte Halloweenkarte

Heute wird gespukt, sagt meine Menschin. Aber eigentlich spukt es an Halloween gar nicht. Das ist nämlich ein keltischer Brauch und hat nichts mit spuken zu tun.

Dieses Jahr hatte meine Menschin nicht so viel Zeit, diese Art Karten zu machen. Aber eine letzte ist doch noch auf die Reise gegangen und auch schon angekommen.

Today it will be a spooky night, says my human friend. But actually it's no haunted night at all. It's a celtic rite and has nothing to do with being spooky.

This year my human friend had not much spare time to create Halloween cards. Her last one has already reched the addressee.

Meine Menschin ist wieder daheim! Ich freue mich so, jetzt kann ich sie wieder streicheln und belästigen, wenn ich knuddeln will. Ich glaube, sie hat sich mehr auf ihr Bastelzimmer gefreut, als auf mich...

Nun denn, diese Karte hier hat sie für eine Arbeitskollegin gemacht und auch gleichzeitig für die neue Challenge bei NSS. Da geht es diese Woche nämlich um

etwas Geprägtes

und sie hat den "Always Forever"-Schriftzug geprägt. Den Abdruck von der süssen Lady hat sie von Nina geschenkt bekommen.

My human friend is back home! I am soooo pleased, now I can stalk her again if I want to cuddle. But I think she missed her craft room more than me...

Well, she made this card for a co-worker and also for the new NSS challenge. This weeks theme is

and she embossed the "Always Forever" writing. She got the image from Nina.

NSS neue Challenge

Meine Menschin weilt immer noch im Urlaub und hat mich gebeten, die aktuelle Challenge der NSS hochzuladen. Mit Müh' und Not habe ich es geschafft, phu, das war ein Stress. Sonst hilft sie mir nämlich immer. Aber unsere Tier- und Wohnungsbewacherin die kommt nicht so draus und so musste ich es alleine machen.

Das Thema zur Challenge #89 lautet

und das schreit ja geradezu nach Halloween, oder nicht? Meine Menschin hat daher natürlich eine Halloweenkarte gemacht. Diesmal musste es schnell gehen, sie hatte keine Zeit, lang zu werkeln, von daher ist die Karte eher schlicht und einfach ausgefallen.

My human friend is still on vacation. She said I should post the challenge for NSS. I made it with great difficulty! Normally my human friend helps me, but the pet-and-flat-minder couldn't help me, computers are not up her alley...

The challenge #89 at NSS has the theme

and this is sooo halloweenish, isn't it? That's why my human friend made a halloween card. She was pretty in a hurry and so the card turned out to be a bit plain and simple.

Key to my heart

Ich bin ganz traurig. Meine Menschin hat mich einfach alleine gelassen. Nun, nicht ganz alleine, denn ich habe ja noch die anderen Katzen und die Kaninchen und ausserdem wird für die Wohnung geschaut, damit keine Einbrecher kommen (ja, ja, meine Menschin ist noch sooo blöd und posaunt in der virtuellen Welt rum, dass sie in den Ferien weilt, ohne abzusichern, dass ihre Tiere und Wohnung 24h bewacht sind!). Ich kann also nicht so ganz machen, was ich will...

Diese Karte hier hat sich auch auf den Weg gemacht und erreicht bald eine andere Bloggerin. Meine Menschin mag dieses Motiv soo fest gern, sie sagt, diese Schönheit hat auch den Schlüssel zu ihrem Herzen (ich werde da wohl bald das Schloss austauschen, NUR ICH darf diesen Schlüssel haben!!).

I'm sad. My human friend left me alone. Well not all alone, there are still the other cats and the bunnies and the lady who lives with us while my human friend is travelling through Ireland. Yes, my human friend is not stupid, ya know...she doesn't trumpet in the internet that she is on vacation without taking care that no burglar can break into her house. That's why this nice lady stays with us 24h/day. That means I cannot do what I want...

This card here is on its way to another blogger-lady. My human friends loves this image sooooo much and she says, that this beauty has the key to her heart. Guess I have to change the locks! ONLY I am allowed to have a key to her heart!!

Die Metallecke ist mit Copic Sketch bemalt, klappt wunderbar und färbt nicht ab!

The metalcorner is coloured with Copic Sketch and it works fantastic without marking off!

A new Baby Boy

Eine Freundin meiner Menschin hat ein junges Menschlein gemacht. Ich glaube, das ist gleich wie bei uns Tieren, nur dass die Menschlein länger daheim bleiben und unselbstständig sind. Nun denn, bei den Menschen macht man immer so ein Theater und so hat auch meine Menschin eine Karte gemacht für dieses neue Menschlein.

A friend of my human friend made a little new human baby boy. I think it works the same as in our animal world, except that the little humans stay at home longer and are pretty much dependent. Well, humans become all fussy about that happening, also my human friend. She made a card for this new human baby boy.

Some wonderful news!

Meiner Menschin ist was wundervolles passiert! Ja sie freut sich total darüber, ist ganz aus dem Häuschen! Manchmal benimmt sie sich schon komisch. Ich glaube, ich muss mal wieder was kaputt machen, damit sie wieder auf die Erde kommt...

Die liebe Franzi hat sie gefragt, ob meine Menschin gerne bei Night Shift Stamping ins Design Team kommen möchte und natürlich will sie das! Meine Menschin hätte ja nie im Traum daran gedacht, dass sie mal in dieser Liga mitspielt! Und sie sagt, dass sie sich sehr freut, mit den Mädels von NSS zusammen zu arbeiten!

Hier kommt nun ihr erster Beitrag dazu. Die NSS-Menschen haben das Thema

Something wonderful happened to my human friend! She still is totally exited! Sometimes she behaves quite weird. Guess I have to break something that she will come back to earth again...

The lovely Franzi has asked her to join the DT at Night Shift Stamping. And of course she'd love to join the group! She never thought that she would play in such a league! She is looking forward to work with the other NSS girls and is very thankful for that!

In diese traumhafte Lady ist meine Menschin verknallt, sie mag sie lieber als mich. Ich habe nämlich gesehen, wie sie sie anschaut und streichelt, dann hat sie keine Augen mehr für mich...

My human friend is in love with this beautiful lady from Sweet Pea. She likes her better than me, I saw her caressing the pic and I saw the look on her face while glancing at her. She doesn't give me any attention... too bad for her, there are enough tomcats in the neighbourhood and they will give me more attention!

Heute war meine Menschin überaus kreativ und sie hat zwei Kärtchen gemacht. Aber ich darf Euch vorläufig nur mal eines davon zeigen. Es ist ein Halloweenkärtchen und sie hat es einer lieben anderen Bloggerin gemacht, aber wem, darf ich auch noch nicht sagen... immer diese geheimnisvollen Aussagen!!

Findet Ihr den Edwin auch so süss wie meine Menschin? Also ich würde gerne an einer der Fledermäuse knabbern, so eine hatte ich schon mal und sie hat lecker geschmeckt!

My human friend was quite productive today. She made two cards but I am only allowed to show one of them. It's a Halloween card for another nice blogger friend but I mustn't tell who the lady is...always being so mysterious, my human friend!! Do you also like the Dracula Edwin as much as she does? I'd rather nibble on one of these bats, I once ate one and it was delicious!!

Kenny K

Meine Menschin hat von der lieben Nina ein paar Stempelabdrücke bekommen und musste gleich mal eine allererste Kenny K Karte machen (hüpft doch mal zu ihr rüber und schaut, was sie so macht). Nun, so ganz meiner Menschin ihr Ding ist es nicht, die Kenny K-Damen sind halt schon sehr speziell. Aber sie hat gleich noch eine neue Sache versucht, nämlich zu häkeln. Die Idee hat sie bei Tanja gemopst. Vielleicht nicht gerade sehr passend für eine Kenny K, aber sie wollte halt uuuuunbedingt beides machen... Jetzt schick ich sie noch ein bisschen raus, damit ich hier in der Wohnung machen kann, was ich will.

My human friend got a few stamp prints from her friend Nina (why don't you hop over to her blog and check her out...) and she wanted to try out making a card with her very first Kenny K image. Well, it's not her cup of tea actually, the Kenny K-lassies are very special and not so my human friend's style. And she also tried out another new thing which she saw over at Tanja's blog. She tried to crochet. Maybe it doesn't fit a Kenny K card but my human friend desperately wanted to try out both...

I will send her outside now for a while so that I can do in this house whatever I wanna do.
